1° day: February 16 - (Ernakulam - Munnar)
Leaving from Ernakulam early in the day, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive up winding mountain roads, passing spice plantations and forested hills. Upon arrival in Munnar, check into your hotel or homestay and take some time to settle in. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Munnar Tea Museum to learn about the region’s colonial tea history and see how tea is processed from leaf to cup. Wander through the local markets, where you can shop for fresh spices, teas, and handcrafted souvenirs. Later, head to Pothamedu View Point for your first breathtaking glimpse of the endless tea valleys below. It’s the perfect introduction to Munnar’s natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
2° day: February 16 - (Munnar)
Set out to explore some of Munnar’s most iconic natural sites. Start with Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and the majestic Anamudi Peak, the highest point in South India. Afterward, venture out to places like Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy the calm waters and surrounding greenery, and Echo Point, known for its unique natural acoustics.
